The title track of the album, Afraid of Heights was written after a composing dry spell Grace experienced the year after she graduated from University. After coming to terms with the fact that many of the people she graduated with that already far exceeded her personal goals, she reached a point of fight or flight. She decided that she couldn't live without music, and what ever she did achieve would make her far happier than not trying and never knowing what might have been. This is a piece about struggle, self realization and moving on with what you have, and letting go of the things you don't.

It's just so far to fall

to touch the sky
and it's hard not to be
the one at all

nothing quite cuts through the dark
